Use and Care

Inspect the surface, hinges, latch, notch, opening, edges, and pads before use; discontinue use if cracked, sharply gouged, warped, loose, or damaged. Use flat with every pad contacting a clean, dry, level counter. Fold only for transferring prepared material after the knife has been put down; keep fingers clear of the latch and never cut while the sides are raised. Follow appropriate separation and hygiene practices for different foods. Hand wash with mild detergent, rinse all hinge and latch recesses, and dry completely while open. No dishwasher, microwave, oven, freezer, heat-resistance, antimicrobial, or knife-protection claim is made.
